Amichien Bonding
Amichien Bonding is not training, but a holistic way of working with a dog using four key elements the dog instinctively understands in their own language:
- Separation
- Food
- Hunt
- Danger
Using these four key elements, you can communicate with your dog and understand their behaviour and therefore correct any unwanted behaviour you are not happy about.
Amichien Bonding draws on your dog’s natural instincts to establish a pack structure in your home. You must become the leader of the pack, also known as “the alpha”.

With your leadership your dog will be stress-free and relaxed.
Background
Jan
Fennell, Dog Listener from the UK, developed the Amichien Bonding method
after spending many years observing wild dogs and wolves in their natural
environment.
Jan, like most of us, had tried many different dog training methods but something was always missing. She would get some results but wasn’t quite there.
Jan went to see Monty Roberts, the horse whisperer, and finally found the missing link. She thought if he could do what he does with horses then you must be able to do it with dogs.
So she went and studied the wolves’ behaviour in the wild. She studied how the wolves communicated with each other through signals and realised that her dogs had been using the same signals in her pack, without her knowing.
She started to implement these signals herself and communicating with her dogs using their language, and got the results she had been searching for. Jan realised how easy it was to get the results that she wanted.
Jan now writes books and gives seminars and courses to share her knowledge with the world.
